Policy Overview
Mathelots offers live programs, self-paced courses, recorded learning materials, seminars, subscriptions, individual mentorship and other educational services. Refund eligibility differs according to the type of service purchased, whether access has already been provided and whether the program has started.
Before enrolling, learners and parents should review the program description, schedule, prerequisites, delivery format, included resources, fees and any program-specific cancellation conditions.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the relevant program information and agree to this policy, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Program-Specific Conditions
Where a program page, written proposal, enrollment form or invoice contains specific refund conditions, those conditions will apply together with this policy.
General Refund Eligibility
A refund request may be considered where one or more of the following circumstances apply.
Duplicate Payment
The same enrollment or transaction was charged more than once and the duplicate payment can be verified.
Program Cancellation
Mathelots cancels a paid program and cannot provide a suitable replacement, transfer or equivalent credit.
Access Failure
Paid access cannot be delivered because of a verified issue controlled by Mathelots and the issue cannot be resolved.
Legal Requirement
Applicable consumer law requires a refund, cancellation right, price reduction or another remedy.
A change of mind, scheduling conflict, failure to attend, insufficient preparation or dissatisfaction caused by a learner’s personal circumstances does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Live Cohorts, Seminars and Group Programs
Refund eligibility for a scheduled live program depends on when the request is received in relation to the stated program start date.
- A cancellation request must be submitted before the program-specific cancellation deadline shown during enrollment.
- Once the program begins, the learner’s place, instructor time and program resources may already have been allocated.
- Missing one or more classes does not automatically qualify the learner for a full or partial refund.
- Recording access, where included, may be provided as the alternative for a missed live session.
- Requests involving exceptional circumstances may be reviewed individually, but approval is not guaranteed.
Course Start Date
A program is considered started when the first scheduled session occurs, orientation begins, substantial course access is granted or program resources are released, whichever happens first.
Self-Paced Courses and Digital Content
Self-paced courses, recorded lessons, downloadable resources, digital books, worksheets and similar products may be made available immediately after payment.
Subject to applicable law, a refund may not be available after digital access has been activated, substantial content has been viewed, a file has been downloaded or protected learning materials have been delivered.
- You should check the course description, curriculum, prerequisites and technical requirements before purchasing.
- Temporary internet, browser or device issues do not automatically qualify for a refund where the content remains accessible through a supported configuration.
- If content is materially defective or inaccessible because of a verified Mathelots issue, we will first attempt to repair, replace or restore the affected content.
- A refund or other remedy may be considered when the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable period.
Immediate Digital Access
Where required by law, Mathelots may request your express consent before providing immediate digital access and may explain how beginning access affects any statutory cancellation right.
Individual Mentorship and One-to-One Sessions
Individual sessions reserve the time of a specific mentor. Learners should provide reasonable notice when requesting a cancellation or rescheduling.
- A session may be rescheduled when the request is received within the notice period communicated during booking.
- A late cancellation, failure to attend or delayed arrival may cause the session to be treated as used.
- A learner who arrives late may receive only the remaining portion of the reserved session.
- Repeated rescheduling may be limited to protect mentor availability and program continuity.
- Genuine emergencies may be reviewed individually at Mathelots’ reasonable discretion.
Cancellation by a Mentor
If a mentor cannot conduct a scheduled session, Mathelots will normally offer a rescheduled session, alternative mentor, account credit or an appropriate refund for the affected undelivered session.
Subscriptions and Recurring Plans
Where Mathelots offers a recurring subscription, the billing frequency, renewal date, included services and cancellation method will be disclosed before purchase.
- You may cancel future renewals using the method provided in your account or by contacting Mathelots.
- A cancellation should be submitted before the next scheduled billing date.
- Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
- Access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
- Any mandatory statutory cancellation or refund rights remain unaffected.
Policy by Program Type
Live Group Courses
Cancellation conditions depend on the request date, scheduled start date, allocated seat and whether classes or course access have begun.
Asynchronous Courses
Refund eligibility may end when digital access is activated, substantial content is consumed or protected resources are downloaded, subject to applicable law.
One-to-One Meetings
Sessions may be rescheduled within the stated notice period. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be treated as completed sessions.
Workshops and Events
Refund terms may depend on event capacity, venue costs, materials, third-party commitments and the cancellation date.
Books and Resources
Digital resources may be non-refundable after delivery. Physical-item returns, where offered, may be subject to separate condition, packaging and delivery requirements.
Subscription Plans
Cancellation prevents future renewal when completed before the next billing date. Current-period fees are generally governed by the subscription terms.
Cancellation or Changes by Mathelots
Mathelots may need to cancel, reschedule or modify a program because of insufficient enrollment, instructor availability, illness, technical problems, security issues, emergencies or events outside reasonable control.
Depending on the circumstances, Mathelots may offer one or more of the following:
- A revised class or program schedule.
- A suitable replacement instructor.
- Transfer to an equivalent or comparable program.
- Account credit for a future Mathelots purchase.
- A full or proportionate refund for the affected undelivered portion of the service.
Mathelots is not responsible for separate costs paid to third parties, including travel, accommodation, devices, internet services, bank charges or foreign-exchange losses.
Non-Refundable Amounts and Circumstances
Subject to applicable law and any program-specific terms, the following may be non-refundable:
- Classes, sessions or program portions already delivered.
- Digital content that has been accessed, viewed or downloaded.
- Missed classes, appointments or events.
- Late cancellations outside the applicable notice period.
- Registration, administration or processing charges clearly disclosed as non-refundable before purchase.
- Bank fees, payment-provider charges, currency-conversion differences and similar third-party costs.
- Purchases made using a non-refundable promotional offer where the restriction was disclosed before payment.
- Access terminated because of account sharing, misconduct, payment disputes, intellectual-property violations or a material breach of the Terms and Conditions.
Program Transfers and Account Credit
Where a monetary refund is unavailable, Mathelots may, at its discretion, offer a transfer to another suitable program, rescheduling or account credit.
- Transfer eligibility depends on program capacity, prerequisites, schedules and price differences.
- An additional payment may be required when transferring to a higher-priced program.
- A transfer or credit may have an expiry period communicated when it is issued.
- Transfers and credits are generally personal and may not be sold or assigned to another person without written approval.
- Accepting a transfer or credit may resolve the related cancellation request.
How to Submit a Request
Refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through the Mathelots Contact Us page or another official support channel identified during enrollment.
Provide Your Details
Include the learner’s name, registered email address, program name and transaction reference.
Explain the Request
State whether you are requesting cancellation, rescheduling, transfer, credit or a monetary refund.
Await Review
Mathelots may request additional information before confirming eligibility and the available resolution.
The request date is the date on which Mathelots receives a complete written request containing enough information to identify the learner, program and transaction.
Review and Refund Processing
Mathelots will review the request against this policy, the applicable program conditions, account activity, payment records and relevant legal obligations.
- Additional verification may be required before a refund is approved.
- Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
- If the original method is unavailable, Mathelots may request verified alternative payment details.
- The time required for funds to appear may depend on the bank, payment provider, currency and country involved.
- Mathelots cannot control delays occurring after an approved refund has been released to the relevant financial institution.
Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
Contact Mathelots promptly if you believe that a transaction was duplicated or processed incorrectly. Include the transaction date, amount and available payment reference.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
You should contact Mathelots before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so that the issue can be investigated and, where appropriate, resolved directly.
A fraudulent or unjustified chargeback may result in temporary suspension of program or account access while the transaction is reviewed.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising a lawful right to dispute an unauthorised or incorrectly processed transaction.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
This policy does not exclude, restrict or replace any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived under the laws applicable to a particular transaction.
Depending on the purchaser’s location, the method of purchase and whether digital access or performance has begun, additional cancellation, cooling-off, repair, replacement, price-reduction or refund rights may apply.
Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will apply to the extent of the conflict.
Changes to This Policy
Mathelots may update this policy to reflect changes in its programs, payment systems, operating practices or legal obligations.
Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. The version applicable to a purchase will generally be the version in effect when that purchase was completed, unless a later change is required by law or is more favourable to the purchaser.
